Menopause is a stage in a woman’s middle age life that can be quite challenging and at times, difficult and uncomfortable. This is because once women reach middle age, their physical body especially their hormones undergo an extreme change. According to Mayo Clinic, 40% of middle age women suffer various symptoms brought about by menopausal. Many of them are interested in finding a natural menopause treatment option because it is healthier and safer.

Natural Menopause Treatment

Not every woman undergoes menopausal symptoms, but once they do – it can be quite difficult. More and more are turning to natural menopause treatment instead of taking medication or opting for HRT or hormone replacement therapy. Common symptoms would include hot flashes and sweating at night, vaginal dryness, bleeding and pain during sexual intercourse. Psychological or emotional challenges would include depression, increased anxiety and irritability, and extreme mood swings. Most women are advised to see their health care provider regularly during the years leading up to menopause and the years after for preventive health care.

The post Healthy and Safer Natural Menopause Treatment Option appeared first on Beyond Good Health Clinics.

Relief from Natural Menopause Treatment

Once a woman reaches middle age and heading towards menopause, she is advised that a change in lifestyle is necessary. She should put more emphasis on healthy eating, working out or exercising regularly and finally kicking out that nasty habit of smoking or drinking alcohol. Lifestyle change is important so that it will minimize the severity of menopausal symptoms she might experience. Women going through the different symptoms of menopause can find relief with natural menopause treatment in the form of herbs and natural food.

Different Herbs and Natural Food Considered Natural Menopause Treatment

Black Cohosh is an herb that contains plant-based estrogen that helps regulate hormones.

Wild Yam is effective in controlling moods, depression, anger and irritability because it is a natural menopause treatment that regulates hormones especially progesterone.

Ginseng is used by the Chinese people to treat menopause for a long time now. Ginseng helps keep the vaginal wall healthy and prevents it from drying and tearing which can be very painful. This herb is also helpful in treating insomnia and hot flashes.

Food containing high amount of Phytoestrogens like sesame seeds, flax seeds, and fermented soy. Phytoestrogens help balance hormones during and after a woman go through menopause. Because they contain a plant-based type of estrogen called Isoflavones, Phytoestrogens provides natural relief for women suffering menopausal symptoms.

Fruits like apples and cherries, food like barley, carrots, alfalfa sprouts, garbanzo beans, beets, garlic, oats, and olive oil are also recommended as they have estrogenic effects.

Flax seeds and flax seed oil are considered the best natural menopause treatment food because they contain high levels of Isoflavones and alpha-linolenic acid which treat menopausal symptoms effectively.

Chronic fatigue syndrome or CFS is a condition characterized by severe and continuous tiredness that is not relieved by rest or sleep. The exact cause of this condition cannot be pointed out, but many medical experts believe that this may be caused by virus, inflammation, age, stress, genes, and environmental factors.

This condition is common among women aging from 30 to 50 years old. Other than extreme tiredness, the other symptoms of this condition include forgetfulness, confusion, joint pain, headaches, mild fever, and sore throat. Without a doubt, this is a difficult condition. Thus, it is not surprising that more and more patients are looking for chronic fatigue diet information for help.

Chronic Fatigue Diet Can Help

While chronic fatigue diet is not a “cure”, but eating right and having a proper diet will help patients to feel better, increase their energy and fire-up their immune system. You may not be aware that there are certain foods included in your daily diet that can worsen your symptoms. Once you know the chronic fatigue diet information, you will know what foods to avoid. Also, some of the food included in the chronic fatigue diet will work for you while there are others that will not. So it is up to you to see what works best for you. However, you must not try any extreme or fad diets when dealing with this condition as it may cause the symptoms to worsen.

It is also important to note that there are a lot of websites on the internet that advertise certain food and supplements as cures for this condition. While some are reputable, others are definitely not. Again, you are encouraged to study them before you decide to buy their products.

A Balanced Chronic Fatigue Diet

The internet is filled with information when it comes to a well-balanced diet. A good diet would include some choices from these five food groups – grains, fruits, protein, dairy and vegetables. When following a balanced chronic fatigue diet, you must also have to include foods from these groups especially protein. This is because protein is the one responsible for the growth and maintenance of your body. It is needed not only by the cells to develop, but it is necessary to boost your antibodies, enzymes and hormones.

Along with the knowledge of chronic fatigue diet, it is also important to know the foods you have to avoid if you have this condition. This would include high-calorie food, fried food, high in saturated fats, food high in monosodium glutamate and containing aspartame and refined sugar foods. It is also best to kick off the smoking habit. Because caffeine and alcohol can disturb your sleep, it is also best to avoid these.

Chronic Fatigue Diet and More

Aside from following a balanced chronic fatigue diet, there are other things to consider that can help alleviate symptoms. This would include undergoing cognitive behavior therapy, learning sleeping techniques, maintaining a social life and following a mild exercise regimen. Some people with this condition also find yoga, meditation, hypnosis and deep breathing exercises to be very helpful.

Looking for ways to deal with this condition? Follow the chronic fatigue diet and you will feel so much better.

After all, who doesn't want to stay young forever? If only there is a fountain of youth that we can dip ourselves into and emerge vibrant, youthful and fresh – there is certainly no need for anti-aging pills or treatments to consider.

But then, life is not a fairy tale or a fictional story. Aging is part of life and all of us, one way or the other, will have to face it. The good news is, we can grow old gracefully and enjoy longer life with the help of an anti-aging pill and more.

Anti-aging Pill Makes You “Forever Young”

A “forever young” pill or anti-aging pill will be available in the next decade. This is according to Professor Linda Partridge who is an expert when it comes to the genetics of aging. This anti-aging pill is not a miraculous pill as most people thought it is. It is a pill taken by people at the start of middle-age that will PREVENT them from acquiring health conditions like Alzheimer’s and various heart diseases.

With the fast evolution of modern science, this pill will keep aging sicknesses at bay and allow people to grow old healthy and strong. People taking this anti-aging pill are able to work longer and make the most of their retirement period. After all, who doesn’t want to stay young forever?

They can travel and enjoy doing activities that they have missed out while during the prime of their lives wherein hard work and building a career and family were their topmost priorities.

Experiment Done on the Anti-aging Pill

There was an experiment done on the anti-aging pill using old mice. The Harvard University doctor chose mice with brain, skin and other major organs resembling to that of an 80-year old human. After two months of taking the anti-aging pill that affects the key enzymes of these mice, new cells were found to completely regenerate. Old infertile male mice were able to father a large litter. Aside from this experiment, research was also conducted that showed that there were a series of reactions of the body caused by insulin and related hormones affecting the health and delay of aging. It is quite exciting to know how this anti-aging pill can help one delay aging.

Anti-aging Pill: The Key to Longevity

Is the anti-aging pill the key for people to enjoy longevity?

According to researchers, the anti-aging pill has to go through series of continued experiments and tests in the coming years before they can really guarantee that it works and works well for human. It is important that this pill can be proven safe before anyone taking it. So in the meantime, what can we do? Remember that no one can stop nature from taking its course. We will grow old and for us to enjoy longer and healthier life is to start now. There should be a change of lifestyle. A proper diet should be followed. Avoid food that will eventually destroy the body and make it susceptible to various illnesses. It is also important to exercise and keep that body moving. Most of all, avoid stress as it can make you look and feel old fast.

This is the best thing to do while we wait for the anti-aging pill to become available for us in the near future.

It’s that time of the year when you’ve probably already starting to think about what you want to accomplish in the coming year, how you’re going to improve your life and the lives of your loved ones.

Are you confident though that your intentions for 2013 will get better results than your plans for 2012 and 2011 did? Most of us have faced so many obstacles and disappointments that they become quite cynical with setting New Years intentions and dreams.

It is typically more comfortable and safe to stay in the familiar and known that to follow our dreams blazing a new path for a brighter future. The pain of the unknown, the risk and uncertainty can outweigh the drudgery, pain or struggle of the present situation.

However, Robert G Allen said, “The future you see is the future you get”.

When dreams start to call to you, you may feel a bit vulnerable and start to experience fears and doubts that may stop you in your track. That’s ok. You are simply opening up to the unknown, charting new territories which can feel challenging but you have to move through the barriers to allow fresh new perspectives and possibilities to be available to you.

Here are seven ways you can invite your imagination to dream and give you courage to go beyond your fears:

1. Ask questions: What do you want more of? What does your heart call out to you? What inspires you? What would an ideal day for you look like in vivid detail? Many of us are stuck in mundane work or routines that reflect our obligations, our sense of responsibilities, our guilt patterns or our unconscious seeking of approval from others. We often do not allow ourselves to dream freely, imagine expansively without constraints or restrictions and thereby open ourselves up to new possibilities. Question your current reality and see if it is in alignment with what’s feels deeply right for you.

2. Design and write down your ideal bio in 100 words: Who will you be? What will people say about you? What will you be known for? Who will you empower or inspire through your work? What legacy will you be leaving behind? It is a fact that traits you admire in other people are already resident within you, only unacknowledged (otherwise you would not recognize them as a projection from you). Writing your bio down with your ideal traits with emotion and intent is one of the fastest way to call in big dreams. It is activating the Be, Do, Have principle.

3. Make a bucket list: If you haven’t done so before, I suggest you make a bucket of list of all the things you wish to do, have, visit, experience, and savour in your life, without thinking about the HOW steps, the limitations or constraints….just the end pictures in mind. Start collecting pictures and create a vision board of what inspires you. A 2013 vision board gives us permission to dream, and imagine and can invoke powerful messages to our subconscious mind and the universe to help us create the reality we desire.

4. Decide that you are more than your small ego constraints and fears: Our ego often keeps us small and limited, holding us back from full participation and active engagement in life. We identify ourselves often by past, our fears and limitations, our vocation…who we are and what we do….eg. I can’t do this, I am not creative or knowledgeable enough, I am not good enough, etc. The truth is that small ego mind is only a very small part of who you really are……you are part of the great, divine, creative Intelligence, the limitless universe, source energy, infinite and bountiful expressing itself through you, to contribute your unique talents and gifts to the world in an authentic way….and there is nothing to stop you when you are a part of the Divine life force or God.

5. Concentrate on what you love increases your energy: There are only so many hours within a day. Where you put your attention and focus on expands. Doing what you love generates energy and passion that will help you overcome all obstacles in your path. If you could concentrate doing what you love, how would your life look like? How would you feel waking up each day, inspired, motivated and excited about doing what you love? What would you be doing more of with your time? In what ways could you contribute to the world by doing the thing that you are uniquely qualified to do?

6. Apply the 80/20 principle: The Pareto principle states that 80% of our results comes from the critical 20% of effort or initiative. Find the 20% of your time that is the most productive, joyful, expansive, happy part of your life that gives you the most satisfaction, and engineer your life to put more energy behind what feels good versus staying stuck in the constraints
of routine or obligations which may be 80% of your days.

7. Consider all your options ahead of you and play out various life trajectories: In the movie “Sliding Door”, Gwyneth Paltrow goes through two completely different life experiences depending on whether she misses the subway door or enters the train in that moment. Let your imagination run wild and play out different life scenarios for yourself based on making different life choices right now. How could your life be different if you followed the threads of new possibilities for yourself? Like a parallel universe, take yourself there in your mind. What would change for you to create new dreams, new options, a new life?

You may discover aspects of yourself or receive insights about your current life you had not previously considered. Problem is, if you keep doing the same thing, you will continue to get what you’ve always gotten.
Once you have a new dream or ideas that feels good, one that beckons you, do what you can with what you have from where you are now to actualize it.

Don’t wait for the perfect condition to arise or until you “feel” like it because that day will probably never come. It’s always easier to stay in the rut of today than to blaze the big path of tomorrow.
So just get started today and create fresh momentum….whether it be just journaling your ideas, dreaming up your plans….making one declaration, taking one action, one step….they all add up to create your new future based on your dreams.

Dream bigger and enjoy the fruits of your new creation!
Dzung

Staying here as visitors in the high mountains of Chiang Mai has certainly been a delight to the senses….fresh, clean mountain air that invigorates the lungs, fresh, aromatic, unprocessed Thai food to delight the taste buds and plenty of delicate, artistic craftsmanship to admire in beautiful silk, clothing and crafts.

In Thailand, the King, very beloved by his people, had long held a vision and implemented a series of planning and strategies for the benefit of his people - a sign of a great leader. He sought to make his people independent of the fluctuations of the world economies as much as possible by teaching his people how to be self sustaining and independent by growing fresh, local produce and creating innovative products from the fruits and plants harvested from their own land.

Over 35 years ago, as one of his many big vision Royal projects the King invested in research and development in natural gardening, agricultural and permaculture practices, leaving a legacy behind so that his people would never starve and could support themselves from the fruits of their own labour and their own land. In fact, Bangkok and Chiang Mai are one of the few big cities in the world that precludes the presence of big dominant chain food supermarkets that would squash out local competition, and thereby supporting the micro-economies and livelihood of the local people. This is why, you find a plethora of fresh, unprocessed, nutrient rich food and herbs in Thailand, grown, harvested and sold daily by the people. There are no big food companies coming in to commercial agricultural practices and promote long storage of food for the purpose of profits.

The King held a big vision for his people. He gave them land and taught them agricultural practices that allowed them to be self sustaining and independent, despite a lot of political backlash at the time. He made sure that foreigners could not come in and buy up all the prime land in Thailand, so only Thai people can own land here, thereby preserving and safeguarding the country for his people.

What is your long range vision for your life? Are you aligned with this vision in 2013? What legacy will you be leaving behind for your loved ones or the planet?

Now is not the time to play small and safe. With the recent planetary shifts and ascended energies, It is time to embrace your talents and gifts and show up as a the embodiment of your true nature and soul purpose, to courageously express your full potential in this lifetime, whether that be as a parent, as a leader, an inspired worker, a communicator..etc.

Here are some questions that you may help you orientate and reflect upon to create your amazing New Year in 2013. I recommend that you take some time out, and reflect and meditate on what is truly most important to you so you minimize the distractions that take you off your path and purpose. I use these same question to help me align and prioritize my plans and projects for the new year.

What is the most important thing in life?

What is of ultimate significance?

What do I need to do today to align with that and be an expression of this in the world?

In what state of divine health will my body be during 2013 and beyond?

What would my ideal gift of love and service to the world be?

What beautiful places do I plan to visit in 2013?

What would my ideal divine love relationship feel like?

What would my ideal financial flow look like?

What amazing experiences am I already choosing to have in 2013?

How will I be an expression of abundance to the planet and a vehicle for love on Earth and beyond?

Begin dreaming bigger by looking at the dreams you’re already living. At one time, you had a dream about where you would be in the future and that future is already now. By acknowledging what you created through that dream, you empower your inner dreamer to intentionally activate now.

Now, set aside some quality dreaming time in your day. I recommend at least ten minutes but it can be while you are engaged in some mindfulness practices such as walking or meditative state….whatever feels most comfortable and conducive to you is the key.

The idea is to invite your vibrant imagination to dynamically play in possibilities and stretch beyond what you realistically think is achievable. Become a possibilitarian in that you don’t want to block anything that seems far fetched or ludicrous just because your current fears or limitations are holding you back. Forget the hows or the steps in between, just invite your imagination to dream and hold the end vision in mind. Practice intentional receiving and allow the universe to assist you in realizing your purpose and goals.

Next time I’ll suggest seven ways that you can invite your imagination to dream….

Until then,

Sawadi Kha….(greetings from Thailand)

With much love

Dzung

What is Effective Quick Weight Loss?

Most people believe effective quick weight loss would mean starving and skipping out on meals. Others are easily swayed with the golden promise of every telemarketer’s “amazing and effective” quick weight loss pills or drinks.

Still others would willingly invest and venture trying out different fad diets advertisers are claiming to be successful. But are they safe? Are they effective? Yes, we all want a quick weight loss method especially if you have to fit that size 10 dress in a month to look your best, but do you know how to do it safely?

Quick Weight Loss Strategy for You

The good news is a safe but quick weight loss plan is possible. According to weight loss counselor Katherine Tallmadge, RD, “one can safely lose 3 or more pounds a week at home with a healthy diet and lots of exercise.” Just think, if you burn 500 more calories than what you eat everyday for the whole week, you should be losing about 1-2 pounds. Anyone who wants to see quick weight loss proof should eat less and exercise more. However, you must not starve yourself at any time or skip a meal because this can harm you.

The important thing is for you to know what food must be consumed daily which is healthy and much-needed by your body. For instance, your daily diet should consist of vegetables, fruits, omega 3, nuts, soya, wheat and protein. Hydrating your body regularly with water is also essential. You have to limit your intake of salt and starches; although when you exercise, you are actually reducing fluid and fluid retention in the body and not fat. Yet, you will be amazed that you will lose at least 5 pounds in the first week.

The post How To Achieve Quick Weight Loss Safely appeared first on Beyond Good Health Clinics.

Aside from this, an effective quick weight loss strategy would include that you get “tempting” food like chocolates, ice cream, cakes, chips, and sodas out of your home. Keep a weight loss journal so you can keep tab on your progress and help you stay on track. As you look over each milestone, the more determined you are to reach your desired weight loss. Following an exercise regimen as part of your quick weight loss plan does not have to be difficult and hard. The simple rule to follow should be for you to choose a regimen that is fun and exciting for you. You can choose to go the gym, attend aerobic or belly dancing classes, play tennis, swimming, or go for regular brisk walking in the park – definitely any of this extra activity will help shed off weight easily.

SAFE and Quick Weight Loss Methods

Although crash diets or fad diets as a quick weight loss solution can be very tempting because a lot of sexy and great looking movie stars did it, remember that if a diet plan sounds too good to be true – it probably is. Most fad diets set you up to fail as they deprive you from eating what you want. Milk shakes, pills, and other brouhaha weird-sounding dish that promise you an incredible-looking body will eventually cause you to rebel and you find yourself back to where you started.
